My trip to Shanghai was as an official of the sport of Softball. The following are my memories of the warm hospitality, the amazing facilities and the committment of the Chinese to our global volunteer work to bring athletic training and competitions to those with intellectual diabilities. Two weeks in Shanghai were not nearly enough to capture the districts that I spent time in. Our work at the softball/baseball facility in New Pudong included some long days and the time the softball officials spent together became more important than mere sightseeing or shopping. I have selected a representation of photos to bring the spirit of the adventure to all who wish to share in this life-changing experience.
