In mid-December, this Sakura branch was closed due to new owners (which want to focus on Yunan food!). A very sad day indeed.

I like birdbar, i had a good time at the first day of  2009. i miss the night, everybody looks so happy,i miss the boy from Israel who is learning Gongfu on the mountain,: )

Little Italy in Kunming

a little great place with real italian Italian Lasagne and the best German beer

That's where I got my shot of eclectic music and neverending creative talking sessions

Relaxing and friendly, with many amenities.

Used by foreigners and Chinese alike.

Bongs and pipes provided.

 Dali is one of the most interesting places in China, with the local Bai people having a higher level of consciousness than the residents of most other places. Immaculately clean, and a huge variety of food, both International and local. 

We had a delightful stay at the guest house. Nothing luxury to be expected but certainly warm and homelike. We were offerred many useful advice to get around in the area. Nice just to hang out in the lounge with a chat around the oven or in the garden bathing the sun. Surely a go-again place for me and my friends alike.

There are many things about this hostel that make it the worst place I've ever stayed.  My room was clean, but the rest of the hostel is very dirty.  The kitchen and bathroom are poorly cleaned, and the rest of the common areas look like they may never be cleaned.  Considering how few guests there are, there are probably months worth of empty beer bottles everywhere, and there are also dirty dishes, hair in the bathroom.  The shower is not warm.  The beds are hard (like wood with a thin pad on top).  There was no A/C in the room (only a complaint of mine because they say they ha

Nice place, that suits my student purse ,

Not techno music all the way, it has real live music too, on sundays and sometimes even saturdays.

This dance bar has worked the formula for a successful Shanghai venue to perfection with blasting pop hits and reasonably priced drinks. When the tequila starts taking its effect, this is a fun place to be, while trying to piece the experience together the next day is decidedly not.
